Putah Creek

After being cooped up with a cold during a few weeks of warm sunny weather, my cough is finally receding just in time for a rainy weekend. It was a warm rainy Sunday though, and we went out to tromp around Putah Creek.


It was beautiful if grey and wet.

And muddy.

Spring was definitely on its way with plenty of buds leafing out and shoots coming up. I love how winter here is green.



At times it was almost sunny, much to Aaron's disappointment.


Our grand accomplishment for the day was crossing the creek without anyone falling in. We rewarded ourselves with chocolate.
Quite a nice walk.
